Season 5, Episode 5. Set in 1995. A woman is tried for the murder of a cop during a bank robbery that happened in 1971 and was done by known protestors of the war, who still hold strongly to their anti-Vietnam War beliefs. She eventually pleas to manslaughter 1. Her sentence is 8 and a third to 25. As the show ends, Jack McCoy says, “She’ll be in prison until 2003. Hopefully by then the 1960s will be over.” Little did Jack McCoy know. Little did he know.

I’m obsessed with Law and Order from those days. The Jack McCoy/Claire Kincaid combination years. The best. (I used to be a Law and Order crazy fan. At about age 10.)
