unhistorical:

Jesse Owens at the Berlin Olympics, August 1936.

In August of 1936, American athlete Jesse Owens won four gold medals, setting three world records and tying a fourth in the 100 yard dash, all in front of Adolf Hitler, who had planned to use the games as a tool to promote the physical superiority of the Aryan race.

Another health-conscious vegan.: My letter to OSU about their requirement of a visual or performing art

that-fit-vegan:

Hello!

My name is Brooke — and I am a junior in high school in Massachusetts. I have always loved languages since a very young age (when my first grade class would go to the library once a week I would always read the “French for Beginners” or “American Sign Language Basics” books). My freshman…

Fascinating scenario.  I hope that you become a Buckeye, and are able to involve yourself in some of their fantastic opportunities in the visual/performing arts!

hypervocal:

Either someone on THE Ohio State University’s campus is a huge fan of Bob Dylan or the graffiti found on the outside wall of the Frank W. Hale Black Cultural Center is pure hate.
DETAILS ABOUT THIS HATE SPEWING HERE.

On the flip side, this sucks.

"Yeah, I talked to him this morning. They kind of get to where they’re going to take off from and then just kind of sit there until they tell them to go. The first time he sat around for a while. I talked to him this morning, and we had the going away talk. He just told me to enjoy it. He wishes he could watch and be here, but he’s doing something more important, and it just keeps
everything in perspective. I’m just really happy that I was able to enjoy this with our basketball team and with all these guys, and hopefully we can continue to do so next week."

The President

is freakin’ me out, man.  He’ll be at OSU—-on campus!—-on Thursday, and early next week will be in Seoul.  He’s tracking my life!!!! Unfortunately, I don’t think I’m going to get to go see him in C-bus, despite the fact I’d love to.

헐. ㅠㅠ

Baby bro flippin’ me off.  Congrats to this kid, though, on finally graduating.  He’ll start his “big boy” job on Wednesday.  His “big boy” job is estimating.  He tries to figure out how many jelly beans are in the jar ;)
